Nestled in the Creston Valley, in the Kootenay region of British Columbia, the Qwest Estate sits in the heart of Canadian cannabis country, where world-renowned BC bud has been grown for decades. Our team of passionate growers have honed their craft over these decades, gaining the knowledge share of generations of BC growers. 

Grown with glacial mountain water and hand-crafted care, the cannabis produced in this spiritual place is something to be revered. The Qwest Estate is home to Qwest, Qwest Reserve and Qwest Special Reserve. 

Built in partnership with the Thunderchild First Nation in Battleford Saskatchewan, Thunderchild Cultivation is home to our Qwest, Qwest Reserve and Blendcraft by Qwest products. The facility features 20 small batch grow rooms following the same, hands-on, high standard craft cannabis cultivation as at the Qwest Estate: small batch, hang dried, hand trimmed, top cuts.

Our extraction plant in Calgary, Alberta produces products for Pressed by Qwest.

Growing high-caliber flower requires tailoring our process from one cultivar to the next. We carefully monitor and attend to the needs of each individual plant - growing in small batches allows us to maintain this level of care.

We pour over our flower to inspect, and hand pick the best buds from each of our lots. This means only worthwhile flower in every hand-packed jar.

We hang dry and dry trim. This ensures the buds are not overly handled, protecting those hard won trichomes and delivering top cannabinoid potency. As the plants dry, the chlorophyll fades away which results in a frosted, beautiful bud and a clean, smooth, flavourful burn..

We individually hand-trim each and every bud. This level of quality control ensures the strains unique characteristics stand out.

We don't use shake or trim - all Qwest Family pre-rolls contain only the best bud. Each whole flower pre-roll passes through a set of human hands to be twisted and weighed for extra attention to detail. We believe this level of care translates into a better consumer experience.

We honour the whole-plant from cure through to extraction. As with our cultivation, attention to detail is king and we are just as selective without flower inputs as we are with the methods and practices we incorporate into crafting our extracts.

Potency goes beyond cannabinoid content. For too long concentrates, like cultivation, has become a numbers game relegated to highest THC. We see the most potent expressions as a marriage of terpenes and THC – flavour and experience. We craft only the most flavourful, terpene-rich extract to transform cannabis experiences from potent to decadent.

The use of fresh, live cultivars means greater overall preservation of the genetics’ natural, unique and fragrant properties. For the top shelf in every aficionado's collection. MAC 1 is an award-winning cultivar grown from Alien Cookies and a hybrid of Colombian x Starfighter. Its unmistakable characteristics include an aroma of citrus and musk with the taste of sour cherry yogurt. This is the authentic MAC 1 by Cap, a legendary strain imitated, but never duplicated.

Gelato 33 is the mother of sweetness with an aroma reminiscent of mixed berry soda while tasting like sweet orange and mint. A true hybrid with a 50/50 ratio of Indica to sativa, it is a beautiful balance for many.

A taste of the tropics - Pineapple Cake tastes just like its pastry namesake. With Golden Pineapple and Trophy Wife as its parents, it’s no surprise this hybrid’s flavours are reminiscent of sweet tropical fruits with a beautiful blend of savoury herbs and spice on the exhale.

Blendcraft is a curated collection of our best in-house Qwest Family genetics re-imagined through high-quality milled flower. These trichome-rich bags are a marriage of our top cultivars, crafted from the densest nugs and occasionally brought back from our retired vault of genetic greats. This is the most refined version of our craft, transforming milled flower into the most delicate expression of our superior cultivars.

The name of this strain says it all. This sativa-dominant strain offers a bold citrus profile and reins from the Sour family with parents Sour Diesel and you guessed it, Tangie. Expect a high THC profile that will leave you buzzing. Qwest’s Sour Tangie will hit hard in all the right ways - nothing short of what you’ve come to expect from Qwest.

Sweet and psychedelic. Juicy and potent. Phenome OG Spike is legendary. Known for it’s sweet, citrus flavonoid profile, Phenome OG Spike delivers an uplifting, heady haze that can almost bump into a psychedelic realm. Some refer to the initial onset like a Jack Herer boost with a buzz that lasts.

A lineage of giants - a bit Kush, part Haze and traces of Skunk - Banana OG is not your average loaf. Subtle notes of sweet melon and under-ripe banana on the nose, but upon taste the classic sweet earth and dank hash flavour comes through, courtesy of its OG Kush heritage. Banana OG is pungent as it is potent, and like its lineage suggests, is a cultivar for those lovers of old school, legacy genetics.

Craft cannabis, blended. We stumbled upon this blend during our own smoke sessions and had to share it widely. Smooth, uplifting and potent this indica mash-up will leave you floating. Expect flavours of earthy, spicy vanilla to take you there.

Death Bubba is an original BC strain and a cross between Death Star and Bubba Kush. 
Wedding Cake is the marriage of Triangle Kush x Animal Mints, creating a holy matrimony of a balanced high and creamy smoke.

Forever haunting us in the best way. Ex-Wife is a unique combination of old school (Ghost OG) and new age (Trophy Wife). Together, these cultivars create a breed that yields phenomenal levels of THC.

A clash of red fruits: Grape Stomper collides with Cherry Pie - how can you not love this combination? Grape Pie while purple and fruity in name, offers one of the most complex terp profiles to date. Concord grape jelly with a bit of white grape juice is present on the nose, but the flavour is all sweet, diesel-rich earth with a bit of spice - maybe cinnamon raisin? You be the judge. Regardless, Grape Pie is as striking on the nose as it is visually with mauve purple patches and shades of green in a heavy resin undercoat.

An offshoot from the Wedding Cake family, Papaya Cake is tart lemon, overly ripe mango and black bananas that give off an astringent like finish to make up the heart of this dank bouquet. Frosty, triangular buds range in colour from bright green, deep emerald and occasionally mauve hues making this exotic cultivar a sight for sore eyes in addition to an intriguing terp ride - fruity with a pungent sourdough on exhale.

Point Break is one of a kind cultivar with a fragrance of minty creamy oranges. It’s a challenge to describe the complex yet inviting terpene profile - really something you need to experience for yourself. The sweet undertones may come as a surprise at first smell with its deep skunky aromas, but when indulged, the first taste on inhale is a coating of flavour from oranges to fuel on the exhale. A unique taste and profile, unlike the ordinary.

Make no mistake, this is neither a cake nor a cookies varietal. Redneck Wedding comes from crossing Trophy Wife with GMO. While notes of cherry are present, the unique, pungent and altogether musky aroma of GMO plays through when first taking whiff of Redneck Wedding. Once ground you'll find the musk from a vintage store fades away and gives rise to a lovely nuttiness, coffee ground and spice, with fuel upon exhale. Dark green dense nugs are completely frosted, making this trichome rich bud as white as a wedding.

Stuffed French Toast derives from French Toast meeting Forum Cut Cookies varietal Cookies x Cream.
